For a town as small as Malton, you would never think a mexican would be there.
But there is and it is amazing.
Well worth the trip out.
You won't be dissapointed -

If you want a melt in the mouth steak then Gringos is the place for you. If you don't mind going for dinner before 6 then they have an early bird discount of 15%.
The quality of food is always good and the portions are huge. Even some of the childrens portions are plenty for an adult.
I agree with the review by DismasX in saying that the tables are a little cramped and the staff do continue to ask you if you want drinks and how the food is but i guess thats better than nothing at all. -

Cheap and cheerful especially good value early doors if you have kids.
The food is always good and you can choose mild medium or hot for most dishes.
Unfortunately, the tables in some areas feel crammed in and the service often leaves a lot to be desired either you never see anyone or you get 4 different people in a row coming to the table asking if you want more drinks even though the first person who asked is still getting the drinks you ordered! -

Great atmoshere,go before 6pm and get special discount,does accomodate most palates (lots of choice)

I think it's quite expensive for a little restaurant in a small market town, I have been a few times and also find it annoying that there is no draft beer. I went there tonight (13.01.11) and they had modern hard bass driven dance music playing, I found this to be off putting and ask them to change the music to something more appropriate.. like Mexican music lol, but the waitress did nothing about it. As a result I won't go there again, It was like eating in a nightclub! Why? Why?
